By tweaking the gain you can go from clean to Tube Screamer to Rat with no problem... I play classic and modern rock with some Blues, this pedal works well with my style. I have been playing for 30+ years and have owned a lot of different gear in that time. This pedal will stand up to any of the vintage OD pedals that people pay way too much for on Ebay. If it were stolen, I would call Dave at VintageFX and have him build me another one. OVERALL RATING: 10"
