Suhr Koko Boost:
The Suhr Koko Boost is a unique boost pedal in that it incorporates a clean transparent boost as well as a selectable midrange boost for maximum flexibility for a pedal in its class. Utilizing the finest components and rock solid construction and engineered by discerning musicians, the Koko boost is the ultimate boost pedal that dramatically expands the range of your tube amplifier.

The Koko Boost is a clean boost and mid frequency boost pedal with a number of features. As a clean boost, the Koko Boost can vary from unity (buffered) to +20 db of gain. As a mid boost pedal, it can accentuate frequencies over 3 selectable ranges: low-mid, mid, and high-mid. The user can set the pedal to operate in buffered or true bypass mode.

The Koko Boost has unique features that are not available in other pedals. It can be remotely turned on or off by using the FxLink connector driven from an external switch closure, pedalboard, loop switcher, or any other custom interface.

Both boost and mid boost functions are also controllable via FxLink, which provides for the pedal's ability to power up in the ON or OFF state as well as the FxLink state.

The Koko Boost incorporates a unique battery monitor that alerts the user to low battery conditions. In addition, the battery monitor will automatically switch the pedal to true bypass if the battery is too low for the circuity to operate correctly. Say goodbye to signal chain interruptions and panicky trouble shooting in the middle of a song.

The Koko Boost utilizes 2 switches that obviate the need to press both switches to turn on the effect and then select one of two effects. In other words, each mode is instantly accessible with one press of a switch. LED indicators remain at a constant brightness even as the battery drains.

The Koko Boost can operate over a wide range of input voltages and consumes very low current (<10ma) for extended battery life.

"The clean boost is sounding VERY clear and does not affect the guitars tone at all! Just the best clean boost I've ever heard! The mid boost is also very clean and fattens up the guitars tone, which is great for clean solos or a fatter overdrive/distortion lead sound. You can choose between the different 3 mid boosts: low mids, mid-mids and high mids! All of them are great sounding! This let the notes sing, indeed! I use this pedal first in the signal chain as to boost all my other overdrive/distortion units, as well as to push the amplifier itself! You got TONE, TONE AND TONE out of it! It never sounds bad, you can't go wrong with this pedal! It is dead quiet, too! Besides that did not expect anything else from it... ...THE BEST GUITAR EFFECT PEDAL I HAVE EVER HAD!
