It gets the same kind of sound as the MT-2, only buttered up and better, plus its cheaper and a nice alternative. It covers all sorts of distortion tones very well, not just metal. However, don't expect to be able to put this in front of a dirty channel for an overdrive, it doesn't quite work like that.
