ISP Technologies Decimator Pedal:
Find out why everyone is saying this is the best noise reduction pedal available anywhere! ISP Technologies presents the latest generation in Noise Reduction technology, the DECIMATOR™ NOISE REDUCTION SYSTEM. From the original inventors of HUSH™ noise reduction comes the latest, most advanced, patent pending, state of the art technology in real time noise reduction. The Decimator offers a revolutionary breakthrough in Noise Reduction processing with an unparalleled level of performance. The HUSH system, as well as all other noise reduction systems suffers from one major problem inherent in their design: The system cannot be immediately responsive to very short-term staccato notes. The typical downward expander noise reduction system suffers from a dead zone in the release response characteristic which causes a compromise in tracking both fast decaying notes and long sustained notes. The Decimator design offers a novel approach to tracking the envelope of the input signal called Time Vector Processing. Due to this novel approach in controlling the expander, the Decimator system will instantly respond to short staccato notes and, at the same time, will provide a very slow ripple free control of long sustained notes. This means that the Decimator noise reduction system is the most transparent and highest performance noise reduction system available. The Decimator Pedal is extremely easy to use; simply inset the Decimator at the end of your chain of existing pedals or, insert the Decimator Pedal in the effects loop of your amplifier to clean up the noise present at the amplifier input as well as the noise in the amplifiers pre-amp section. Packaged in a rugged, beautifully polished smooth chrome chassis, the Decimator pedal offers reliability, performance and beauty in one compact pedal. Audition the Decimator today and experience the highest level of performance available in a noise reduction system.

REVIEWS & USER COMMENTS:

HARMONY CENTRAL USER REVIEW 2/6/2005:
"I play brutal technical death metal and this pedal is absolutly neccissary for this style. My Alesis 3630 just was not cutting it as far as noisegates go. Its so easy to use a chimp could operate it. If I lost this pedal I would most deffinatly buy another one."

HARMONY CENTRAL USER REVIEW 12/5/2004:
"I'm quite sure I work in the absolute noisiest, buzziest club EVER! As the house sound man I get an endless stream of bands through and every guitarist is horrified at the nasty buzz their rig gets in here, almost unusable if you step on the overdrive. The problem does not even lie in the buildings electrical system as it has been tested over and over. The buzz eminates from the "air" from possible neighbouring businesses like taxi, phone companies. As soon as you plug your guitar in and create a loop you get just the worst chainsaw buzz possible. I'm also a player/soundman for about 38 years now and i've never heard anything like this and NOTHING would solve it....UNTIL, I met Buck from ISP! His Decimator was the answer to my prayers. This big chrome brick just squashed 100% of the buzz instantly and the rigs now sound like they are on standby it's that quiet! Buck and his team at ISP are awesome and very helpful and I taked to the man himself when he answered the phone. Buck was the man who invented the Hush system btw! This Decimator takes noise removal to a new level and it's in a very easy to use foot pedal. [rack available too] NO rig should be without one of these if you play venue to venue or even just your living room..where it cured my buzzy house too in 2 seconds flat]."

HARMONY CENTRAL USER REVIEW 7/25/2004:
"Beats all others hands down. This is the secret weapon to playing high gain amps live. No tone loss, seems transparent. If this broke (which I cant see happening) I would buy 2. The quality is great & now consider it an essential piece of gear. It does one thing & does it very well....period."

HARMONY CENTRAL USER REVIEW 5/8/2004:
"I've been playing metal and prog for 23 years now. I've used many different amps and preamps, mostly Marshalls and Mesas, always at extreme gain settings and at ridiculously high volumes. This pedal is a dream come true. Far superior to Hush and HushII in both response time and transparency. If someone stole it I would kick their ass and take it back."

HARMONY CENTRAL USER REVIEW 12/23/2003:
"This is the best noise suppressor I've used to this day. I have used the rocktron HUSH system, and have used the BOSS NS-2... this is far superior to both those."

HARMONY CENTRAL USER REVIEW 9/24/2003:
"This really is the gate for people that hate noise gates. Every guitarist in every style should have one on their pedalboard even if only for emergencies. I've fed fuzzes into it, wahs, played with tons of dynamics, placed it everywhere in the signal chain, it's so musical. Can't say enough about the thing... Get one!"

HARMONY CENTRAL USER REVIEW 11/25/2002:
"I play an eclectic range of alternative rock and pop. Sometimes I get disgusted with effects and enjoy plugging straight in. This is one pedal I liked even without other effects, because it cleans up the sound coming out of a hot amp without artifacts. It's not a pedal I'll ever take out of my pedalboard, and the best noise reducer made, I believe."
