Arteffect Orangen Tone Boost: Built around a new old stock germanium transistor, the Orangen Tone Boost is a recreation of the legendary Orange Treble & Bass booster. The pedal feaures a special US-made transistor that has very high gain and low noise. With its germanium "squish" and sweet harmonics, the Orangen Tone Boost delivers those much sought after tones: from a glassy top and shimmering presence to a smooth and dark tone – taking your rig right back to where electric guitar tones should be! The Arteffect Orangen booster is both original sounding and road ready. Audio-grade precision components are used throughout the FR4 board. A high efficiency bright LED indicator makes it possible to cut current consumption down to a minimum to allow the longest battery life possible while enjoying a dependable and prominent indication you can always depend on while on stage. Arteffect's unique PPC power filtering circuit delivers extremely powerful hum filtering from your AC adaptor while minimizing power loss - Headroom is no longer compromised for the sake of hum-filtering! Each Orangen Tone Boost is handcrafted by Tom & Dan of Arteffect in Haifa, Israel. As with all Arteffect products, the Orangen Tone Boost pedal is covered under Arteffect's two year manufacturer's warranty. Features: True-bypass with status LED NOS high gain & low noise germanium transistor PPC - Advanced power filtering All metal-film resistors for minimum noise Runs on 9V battery or power adaptor (standard 9-volt DC negative-center) PLEASE NOTE: this pedal, like many vintage type germanium bosters and fuzzes, is internally positive-ground. It CANNOT share a daisy-chain power supply or an un-isolated power tap from a power brick with other pedals that are internally negative-ground (most pedals are neg.). It needs either a stand alone wall wart or an isolated tap (like the ones provided by the Voodoo Lab pedal Power 2+.
