Plush FX Cream:
The Tube Screamer might be the most popular and famous overdrive pedal ever made. Made popular by SRV and countless others, the TS-808 (and it's derivatives) have become legendary. When Plush FX Pedals, a division of Fuchs Audio Technology, designed the Cream, they sought to produce a pedal with the 3-knob simplicity of this classic pedal, while refining the overall design to modern boutique standards. In addition to the selected integrated circuit, they carefully chose each resistor and capacitor to voice the Cream to be quiet, smooth yet articulate, and dynamic. It responds well to both picking strength and guitar volume, and, best of all, it feels like a tube amp. The gain control takes you from a mild edge to the hardest scream. The tone control takes you from a warm "woman tone" to a screaming lead tone with just the right amount of sparkle. Choose your tone, then set your level with the output control and rock on!

HARMONY CENTRAL USER REVIEW 9/27/2008:
"In a word, the sound quality is nothing short of amazing... OK, so here's the story: I've been looking for a more transparent, organic, tube-y sounding upgrade for the TS-808 and TS-9 for several years. I've come pretty damn close several times, but no cigar. I picked up the Fuchs Plush Cream because Andy Fuchs says the Plush Cream is his take on the TS-808, only better. Guess what? Andy Fuchs is spot-on the money! This is easily the best TS-808 clone I have ever played, or ever hope to play. I took it into my local music store and we all A/B'd the Plush Cream with the TS-808, the TS-9, and the Maxon version of the 808. None of them even came close to the Fuchs."
