Malekko Barker Assmaster Germanium:
The Malekko Barker ASSMASTER GERMANIUM has all the same attributes as the original Barker ASSMASTER, with the addition of germanium components, creating a smoother, more "vintage" feeling face-peeling distortion. Comes with sweet blue LED. Moms love it! The pedal is powered by a 9v DC adaptor, negative tip (not included), or internal battery snap.

Controls:

The ass volume controls the volume of the distortion signal
The ass switch selects the tone of the distortion
The bass volume is the dry signal control; also provides massive gain to the dry signal
Harm selects the harmonic spectrum of the effect
Sensitivity controls the depth and response of the effect from subtle to excessively saturated

"Buzzy, grinding, skin peeling when you want it to be. Bouncy and tubby when you want it to be. Some settings remind me of synth-like sounds. Loads of headroom. When you play with your volume settings there is a hint of octave up/ring mod-ish tones. It sounds a bit different with each instrument/amp combination but all that I have tried sound great. Volume controls for both Fuzz (ass) and Bass.Nails those Ministry/Nine Inch Nails/Marilyn Manson bass tones. I feel like it does a fine job with the "Mean Mr. Mustard" type fuzz too. I can't think of enough good things to say about this."

"Amazing, amazing, amazing. I predominately record direct and its flawless, I use an 86' MIJ Fender P-BASS. I don't gig currently but the sound out my Fender amp is amazing, It's just an old early 90's BXR100 combo thats followed me through times of disbandment. I tried it with my strat and got some fantastic stoner-esque vintage vibe fuzz happening. Great sounding pedal."
