CMAT-MODS Signa Comp:
The CMAT-MODS Signa Comp is an original design compressor, not a Ross clone. It uses matched transistors, and has a really nice wide range of applications. It is very smooth with a lot of sustain and pop. Great low end. This can do Rock, Jazz, Country, Nashville, well you get the idea.

The Signa Comp has controls for Sustain, Level, and Tone, the same footprint as a Boss or Ibanez, and has a bright blue LED and True Bypass.

The Signa Comp is also available in a 4-knob version that adds an Attack control, to give you even more control over YOUR TONE!

"Excelent sounds! You can achieve a nice smooth compression and even out all of the dynamics, or you can crank the "Sustain" and "Level" for a squashed tone (which I love). With the "Tone" knob, you can brighten or darken the sound to however you see fit. What suprised me most was how quiet this compressor is compaired to your average "vintage" compressor from the early 1980's."

"This is a killer comp. the most quietest and organic sounding comp ive heard. compared to those higher priced comps this is a no brainer. Very subtle pedal, its one thats on but you dont realize its on. If you crank the sustain youll start to get some string noise but the pedal is dead quiet(true bypass). For the money you want find a better sounding comp."
