HAO Rumble MOD:
Hand-selected components provide the purest, smoothest, thickest overdrive ever. The Rumble's input and output buffers provide proper impedance matching (a problem with most overdrive units), allowing its circuitry to focus purely on generating the fattest overdrive possible. The Rumble's two modes - Clean Boost and Overdrive - allow for a variety of applications and tonal options. If you've been searching for that $10K amp sound but are several $K short, the Rumble MOD is the economical answer to your tone quest.
HAO effects have become the pedal of choice for many of Japan's most respected guitarists. Their unparalleled sound quality and simple, bullet-proof design allow users to focus on creating music rather than tweaking knobs. Each hand-built HAO unit is an aesthetic and functional work of art, featuring the highest quality components and construction techniques to assure maximum performance.
HAO effects feature true bypass switching.

HARMONY CENTRAL USER REVIEW 1/21/2003:
"I've been playing guitar for over 30 years and have played many professional gigs. The Rumble MOD is easily the best-sounding, most musical overdrive pedal I've experienced. I think it would be very well suited for anyone playing roots, non-metal rock, blues, blues/rock and jazz/rock fusion music. For the past year, I've been getting great results with my BJE Baby Blue overdrive pedal (which I still think is an excellent pedal), but I have to say I think the Rumble MOD is even more impressive for obtaining realistic medium gain distorted guitar tones. It's obvious to me that the designer of the Rumble MOD pedal is really onto something and he has a rare ability for coming up with a low-voltage analog solid state circuit that sounds and feels really close to a great cranked tube amp in the vintage Marshall/Dumble vein. My two big wishes are that: (1) he continues to refine his circuit and further improve the tones (although it's hard to say just how much better they could possibly be); and (2) he distributes his pedals in the USA so that I can purchase and own one."
